Commemorative Total MUNI 2018 Map: Pre-Order

Chronicle reporters Heather Knight and Peter Hartlaub took a little ride the other day. Or should we say a lot of little rides – they rode every Muni line in San Francisco. Starting at 3:21 a.m. on Treasure Island and ending at 9:35 p.m. at AT&T Park, the pair rode 60 Muni lines in 18 hours, covering an estimated 68 miles. Walking and running between rides took up 28,249 steps – 13 miles alone. The day was tiring and inspiring, showing us that Muni is better than its reputation and that San Franciscans remain as enthusiastic as ever about oddball stunts.
